Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY KORNELSEN April 1, 1910 - July 19, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Kornelsen at the age of 93 following a lengthy illness struggling with different cancer surgeries on July 19, 2003. She passed from this life to everlasting life with her Lord and Saviour whom she served for so many years. Her latest stay was in the Donwood Personal Care Home where she received excellent care. She was predeceased by her parents, Rev. Peter and Marie Kornelsen; and sister Helena. A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday, July 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the Portage Avenue Mennonite Brethren church, 1420 Portage Ave. with Rev. Abe Konrad officiating. Viewing will be prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Mary to the Billy Graham Association, Box 841 Station Main, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2R3.
